Residents have access to medical and behavioral health services and substance use treatment and recovery services, as needed. In addition, all residents receive employment and education services through Project HOME’s Workforce Solutions program. We believe that with interventions to stabilize, educate, employ, and empower these men and women, we can prevent them from becoming chronic homelessness in the future.

Community Volunteer Day at Gloria Casarez Residence and Peg’s Place

**Under advisement from our Healthcare Services team, we are requiring that all guests and volunteers attending Bring Philly HOME events provide proof of full vaccination. To further the safety of our guests and volunteers, Project HOME is ensuring that only vaccinated staff members are working and attending the event. The Race HOME Virtual Wellness Activity

The Race HOME is a self-timed, self-paced wellness activity— run a 5k, walk a mile, or take a lap around the block; any distance helps raise awareness of Project HOME’s mission to end and prevent chronic street homelessness. This event will focus on the important role physical and mental wellness has in an individual’s journey towards permanent and supportive housing. Race participation will help a Project HOME community member on their journey home.

Street homelessness greatly impacts a person’s physical and mental health. Project HOME’s Hub of Hope offers a safe place where people can enjoy a warm cup of coffee, shower, wash laundry, see a doctor, meet with a case manager, and begin the process of finding permanent housing.

The Race HOME is part of this year’s Bring Philly HOME, our annual fundraiser, running from September 23 to 29, 2021.
